About Privolzhsky Research Medical University

Since the year of foundation - 1920, PRMU has been constantly developing national medical education according to modern requirements with maintenance of the fundamentals.

PRMU creates the basis for high quality of education through a combination of high level of scientific researches and advanced clinical practice, cooperates with Medical Research Institutes, administrations of Public Health Services, medical establishments of Nizhny Novgorod region, of Volga Federal Region. PRMU also collaborates with industrial enterprises and other national and foreign Universities.

PRMU is the center of treatment/consultation activity of the region, one of the most important centers of medicine, education and culture of Volga Federal Region (Russia).

Today, students from more than 50 countries study at the University. Currently, more than 65 agreements on various types and forms of cooperation have been concluded with foreign partners from 14 countries – universities, institutes, faculties. The university is included in the world ranking of THE and national ratings of RAEX-100. Study programs are accredited by EQAR and APQN.

University Hostel

University has well developed campus close to main study buildings. There are 5 modern hostels. Students get spacious double or triple occupancy rooms on sharing bases along with furniture and bed linen. The campus has canteens and cafe that supply healthy food. The hostel also has a shared kitchen for students who intend to prepare their own food. Laundry, sports hall and rooms for self-training are available.

Students of Maximus company will receive newly renovated room with new furniture.
